Exemplary Detail
A medium close-up shot of the structure connecting the cross-links between the main arms of the umbrella structure. This structure (according to the Galvanizers association of Australia) 'uses a diagonal arrangement of the mainframes and a combined arching effect that develops an inherently stiff structure, which eliminates the need for diagonal bracing in roof, or walls."

Interesting Element
The building is comprised of six umbrella forms of structure each spanning 12x12 metres in a 3x2 array. These cross-linked main arms are an fascinating element because they are both structurally important, as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing and interesting design.
